Using Stoodo

Who we are. Stoodo is run by Uppingham Inc, 330 Rue Avro, Pointe-Claire, Quebec H9R 5W9, Canada. Email hello@stoodo.app.

Who can use it. Students aged 15 and over, and the parents or carers they invite. While we're testing, it's invite only and free. Some things that use Claude have a monthly allowance; when it's used up, they wait until the 1st of the next month. Nothing is ever charged without someone choosing to pay.

Your account. Keep your sign-in to yourself. One account per person. You can delete your account at any time from "Your data" on the home screen.

Your notes stay yours. You own what you send in. You let us use it only to make your revision cards, plans and reminders. We don't use it for anything else, and we don't sell it. Our privacy notice says exactly what we keep and for how long.

AI can be wrong. Stoodo uses AI (Anthropic's Claude) to make cards and plans from your notes. It can make mistakes. Check anything important against your specification and with your teacher. Stoodo helps you study; it doesn't replace your teacher.

Your work is your own. Don't hand in anything Stoodo made as your own assessed work. Stoodo won't write essays or coursework for you.

Exam boards. Stoodo is independent. It isn't made, endorsed or checked by any exam board. AQA, OCR, Pearson Edexcel and WJEC Eduqas are trademarks of their owners.

Please don't.

• Send other people's private details, or anything illegal or harmful.
• Send material you aren't allowed to use for your own study.
• Try to break, overload or get round Stoodo's limits or safety checks.
• Use someone else's account.

We may stop a request, or close an account, if these terms are broken.

Keeping you safe. Stoodo checks what you type before the AI sees it. If something suggests you might be at risk, we show you where to get help, and a person may look at it. The privacy notice explains who is told.

While we're testing. Things will change, and sometimes break. We may change or stop parts of Stoodo. We'll tell you in the app before anything important changes. Nothing here takes away rights you have by law.

The law. These terms are under the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also use your local courts.
