For teachers
Stoodo isn't a class tool yet. Students use it on their own.
They send in their homework and notes. They get one small first step for each piece of homework, and revision cards made from their own notes.
First step: next time you set homework, write its first step on the board too. It works without any app.
What students do with it
- Take a photo of the board, a worksheet or a screenshot of the homework, or forward the email.
- Stoodo finds the task, its due date and one small first step.
- Their own notes become revision cards, ready the next morning.
- It doesn't do their homework. Ask Claude gives hints, not answers.
What you see
Nothing. There are no teacher accounts and no class view yet. Stoodo sends nothing back to your school's systems.
Ten first steps you can use in class
- Write the title and today's date.
- Read only the first question.
- Put one pen and one sheet on the desk.
- Write three words about the topic.
- Write one sentence. It can be messy.
- Make one flashcard: question on the front, answer on the back.
- Cover your notes. Say what you remember.
- Copy out the first question. Don't answer it yet.
- Set a 10-minute timer. Stopping when it rings is fine.
- Write the next small bit on a sticky note.
There's a printable card of these ten steps, free to print and share.
Safety and data
- For students aged 15 and over. Private settings by default. We follow UK data protection law and the ICO's Children's Code.
- What students type is checked before the AI sees it. If something suggests a student might be at risk, they're shown where to get help.
- Data is stored in the EU, never sold, and there are no adverts. Students can download or delete everything.
- Stoodo uses Claude, an AI model by Anthropic. Students' notes are not used to train it.
